Bloom Code of Conduct

The Rules of Serendipity

We're creating intimate spaces to reward strangers for chasing serendipity. Our goal is to turn them into lifelong, interconnected communities. When you travel alone, you expect to find your crew instantly; we're bringing that exact serendipity to the cities where we actually live.

Bloom is for people bound by spontaneity, a zest for life, and a willingness to step into uncomfortable situations just to grow. When you knock on a host's door, the tension breaks. You're no longer a stranger—you're a guest. Because our entire experience hinges on guests dropping their guard in the first ten seconds, we protect the safety of these rooms with absolute ruthlessness.

To make sure every evening ends with the euphoria of finding old friends in new faces, we enforce the following boundaries without exception.

§1. Conduct Rules

§1.1 Zero Tolerance

We don't compromise on physical or psychological safety. If a guest exhibits sexist, misogynistic, racist, or homophobic behavior, or makes anyone feel unsafe in any capacity, they're immediately removed from the event and permanently banned. The safe space is non-negotiable.

§1.2 Every Report is Investigated

Silence breeds complacency. When a guest reports a conduct concern, a founder investigates within 72 hours. When in doubt, we ban. Under-reaction costs us the trust of the entire room; over-reaction just costs us a single guest.

§1.3 Permanent and Non-Appealable Bans

Our spaces require absolute trust, so we don't do second chances. When a ban is issued, it applies across all formats and all cities indefinitely. There is no appeal process.

§1.4 No Uninvited Plus-Ones

The magic of the evening relies on exact social math and deliberate curation. While certain formats explicitly allow you to bring a plus-one, doing so when it isn't clearly stated is a direct conduct violation. Uninvited plus-ones will be turned away at the door with no refund.
